One Step Closer – Made it to Final Qualifying
On Saturday 26th June, a 15 foot putt on the 18th secured a place in the play off for the last spots in Princes GC Final Qualifying. Eight players for seven spots – I made it!!
Final qualifying for The Open took place on Tuesday 28th June, 36 holes / 288 players / 12 spots / 4 courses. However, it was not my day and the journey ended here for me in this my 1st attempt at qualification. Natalie and I have had a great experience down here at The Princes Golf Club and I am really pleased to have made it to the Final stages. Onwards and upwards, we are heading off to play The Clutch Pro Tour events in their second swing at Sonning GC and Frilford Heath GC, before returning to the Jamaga Pro Tour circuit.
