Established in 1921, Longniddry Golf Course<\/a> is situated within East Lothian on Scotland’s Golf Coast. With a wonderful combination of woodland and links holes, this “stern but fair” course is a challenge. Designed by Harry S Colt, with no par 5s for Men but 8 par 4s measuring over 400 yards, Longniddry Golf Club offers a very good test of your golfing skills. The course<\/a> has a par of 68 and the course record of 62 was set by amateur Mike Thomson of Peebles. Formerly an Open qualifying course, Longniddry Golf Club is regularly asked to host amateur competitions such as the LGA South East District Championship in September 2012 and, in May 2013, Longniddry Golf Club hosted the Scottish Ladies (Closed) Amateur Championship. Longniddry Golf Club has hosted the US Kids European Championships for many years and in 2023 is the venue for the Scottish Girls Open Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThere is a practice putting green and practice nets to loosen up the muscles and fine tune your touch before heading to the first tee. The resident professional, Colin Fairweather<\/a>, and his team will ensure you are well looked after. The 18th green sits next to the clubhouse with amazing views from the patio area to Fife, Edinburgh and Arthurs seat. It\u2019s a great spot for a sundowner after your round!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David played here as a Junior member during Summer holidays at the family house in Kilchattan Bay.
